Project Overview

WinterFest is an annual winter wonderland at the Kings Dominion Amusement Park in Richmond, Virginia. The amusement park is divided up into 11 different themed areas full of lights and spectacular décor.

WinterFest is packed with all the sights, sounds, food and experiences of the holiday season. The park shines bright with millions of shimmering lights, a 300-foot tree and lavish displays during the Christmas event.

Scope of Work

Secured Network Solutions, Inc. (SNS) was contracted to furnish and install OSP Cat6-Network and OSP Cat6 Shielded-DMX cables for WinterFest and Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion. SNS created fifteen new IDF locations as well as three outdoor IDF locations. One outdoor IDF location was on top of the park’s Eiffel Tower which served as the 300-foot tree.
